February 2016: Founding
We were founded without external money, entirely boot-strapped in a student flat in early 2016. The founders, Daniel Stammler, Janosch Sadowski, Oliver Löffler, Tim Reiter had met during the studies at the prestigious KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and even worked together at delta, a management consultancy run by students.
July 2016: Release of Idle Miner Tycoon
Being gamers, they wanted to break into the gaming market and created Idle Miner Tycoon in only eight weeks by using a lean approach to development.
December 2017: Team size increased to 40 members
We didn’t stop there. After moving out of the student flat into a bigger office we got joined by like-minded people, increasing the company size to around 40 members.
January 2018: Moved the company to Berlin
The office in Karlsruhe was already getting too small for our quickly growing team. Since Berlin offered more options of suitable workspaces and a greater chance of finding talents, the decision was made to move with the entire company.
April 2018: Release of the second game Idle Factory Tycoon
With more hands on deck and knowledge gained from our first game Idle Miner Tycoon, we were able to release our second entry into the mobile games market.
May 2018: Team size increased to 60 members
With more challenges, more talents were needed. This led to a steady growth of teamsize.
